This week we're going to unfortunately be saying goodbye to our Events Executive Socrates. I've worked with Socrates for a while now, firstly in Viva and now in Phoenix. I was really glad to have him on-board with us, and in the short time Phoenix has been open, he's done a lot. But unfortunately due to some new and exciting commitments outside of this community, Socrates is going to have to retire from our Events Team. I want to thank him so much for everything he's done so far!

With that change, please join me in congratulating Andy who will be moving into the role of Events Executive at Phoenix! Andy has tonnes of experience in this role, and was the natural choice for us to make. We've been working on a new system for events, which Andy will be detailing later today - so keep an eye out for that! I really look forward to working with Andy and improving our events operations. They are an integral part of Phoenix and something that are really important to us here! So you have lots to look forward to in terms of events, and it would be great to see as many members attend convoys as possible!

The final staff change we'll be making is promoting Matthew to Human Resources Executive! Matthew has extensive experience in this area, having been HR in VTCs for over 3 years now. He is someone who has taught me things along the way, and also someone I can completely put my full trust in! I'm really happy he'll now be leading HR, as it is a position he truly does deserve. I'm going to also be working closely alongside Matthew, to streamline some aspects of Phoenix and continue to make things better!

I hope you'll join me in welcoming these changes, and are as excited as I am for what the future holds. Now for some more exciting news! Since we opened in January, Phoenix has grown rapidly and has far surpassed our expectations. This means that we are now in a place where we want to continue to grow, and expand further. Let's see where this road takes us...
